Tour Itinerary

Day 1
You will arrive at Wroclaw and promptly transfer to the picturesque Zagórze Śląskie. Here, you will be enveloped by this town’s tranquillity and natural beauty, offering breathtaking views that will leave you in awe. Your overnight stay at the Fregata guesthouse by the lake will be a luxurious experience akin to stepping into a romantic novel. Take the time to relish the splendid view and indulge in the delectable breakfast that awaits you the following morning. This will be an experience that will stay with you long after you’ve left.

Day 2
After a delicious breakfast, we invite cycling enthusiasts to the picturesque trails of the Owl Mountains. The region is rich in road and mountain routes of various levels of difficulty and length.

You can also follow one of the hiking trails to admire the Grodno Castle, standing on a nearby peak open to tourists, and the Bystrzyckie Lake. A beach, a swimming area, and a club marina were built along its shores, and an exciting bridge led to the castle. Thanks to this, everyone can explore the natural and historical values of the Owl Mountains in the best way possible and relax in the bosom of nature.

While at the Grodno Castle, which is quite a viewing point, you can admire the picturesque view of Lake Bystrzyckie. The lake offers many attractions: a kayak and pedal boat rental for the adventurous, a sandy beach for those seeking relaxation, and a multimedia footbridge for the curious. However, the biggest attraction of the reservoir is the vast dam called Lubachowska, which was initially intended to protect residents against numerous floods. This 44-meter-high and 230-meter-long dam is imposing.

Day 3
You will visit the Srebrna Góra Fortress, one of Lower Silesia’s most popular and impressive tourist attractions. As the most extensive mountain fortification in Europe, this destination is a must-see for any visitor. With a guide, you can explore the fortress during the day or at night and get a deeper understanding of its fascinating history. Additionally, we highly recommend visiting the Reise Project, a massive complex of military facilities constructed during World War II with grand plans by the Third Reich. This is a unique opportunity to explore and learn about these incredible sites, steeped in history and intrigue.

The Underground City of Osówka is the largest and most advanced facility in Reise. It is believed to have been built in 1943 under the Owl Mountains. The Nazis, using concentration camp prisoners, drilled tunnels and adits in the stone, creating corridors with a total length of 1,700 meters and three adits. Today, visitors can explore the Underground City of Osówka with a guide and try to decipher what the Nazis intended to do with the place. During the tour, films about the site’s history are shown, and visitors are required to use flashlights as part of the tour, including a water corridor.

Depending on availability, you can stay in a climatic facility with Soul in the House under the Srebrna Góra Fortress or another boutique hotel.

Day 4
After having breakfast, we will take you to Rudawy Janowickie. The most popular place to visit is Sokoliki, which is well-known among rock climbers. Right next to it, you can admire four colourful lakes created in the place of former German mine workings. These lakes, known as the Colors Lakes, are four water reservoirs established on the slopes of Wielka Kopa in the eastern part of Rudawy Janowickie. They are located on the site of former pyrite mines that stopped operating in 1925. The water flowing down the mountain slopes brought various substances that dyed it different colours. This is how the Yellow Lake, the Purple Lake, the Blue Lake, and the Green Lake were created in Rudawy Janowickie. During your free time, we encourage you to visit the castle in Bolczów.

Day 5
You will be transferred to Moszna, where we will visit the beautiful castle. The palace is considered one of Poland’s most stunning noble residences and a tourist must-see. After sightseeing, we will drive to Czeladź to relax in the Roman thermal baths.

Day 6
You will take a break and pamper yourself at the Roman thermal baths for a day of rejuvenation. You can’t afford to miss this experience! The Saturn Palace in Czeladź offers a luxurious ambience with enchanting interiors, soothing music, and invigorating aroma oils. The rejuvenating rituals will revitalise your body and mind, leaving you refreshed and energised. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to experience the magic of this one-of-a-kind place!

Days 7 and 8
You will be transferred to Tarnowskie Góry, a charming city in southern Poland’s Silesian Voivodeship. With a population of around 60,000, the city is renowned for its beautiful historical architecture and is a perfect destination for a weekend getaway. Hiking enthusiasts and those who love underground exploration will find something for themselves here, as the city has a historic silver mine. In addition to Srebrna Góra and Sucha Góra, there are several tourist hiking and bicycle trails, such as the Segiecki Trail (12 km) and the Gwarków Trail (27 km).

The main attraction in Tarnowskie Góry is the historic silver mine, which UNESCO has recognised as a World Heritage Site. Visitors can explore the mine up to a depth of 40 meters and cover a route as long as 1,740 meters, 300 meters of which must be covered by boat. During the hike, tourists can witness mining faces and workstations and experience authentic sounds of work, such as passing carts or blasting works. The route was equipped with sound in 2012 to enhance visitors’ experience. Visitors can stay overnight in Czeladź.
