Day 1
We will embark on a journey to the Polish Highlands, a unique adventure that combines the charm of Krakow with the tranquillity of Ząb, Poland’s highest village. Nestled at 1,023 meters above sea level, Ząb offers a breathtaking panorama of the Tatra Mountains, from Hawrań in the Belianske Tatras to Giewont in the Western Tatras. This strategic location also allows us to explore neighbouring national parks such as Pieniny, Gorce, Babia Góra, and the Tatra Mountains. Our accommodation at the Redyk Hotel or a similar facility will provide a comfortable base for our explorations.
Days 2, 3, and 4
We invite you to immerse yourself in the Podhale region, where the Tatra Mountains meet the highlanders’ unique folklore and warm hospitality, creating an unparalleled atmosphere. Its picturesque landscapes, regional cuisine, and vibrant customs make it a haven for nature and tradition enthusiasts. For those seeking adventure, we offer bicycle trips along scenic routes, visits to the Tatra National Park, thermal pools, Nordic Walking, organising bonfires with highlander music, and skiing during the winter. These cultural experiences will deepen your understanding of the local traditions and provide a unique opportunity to interact with the Highlander community.
To kickstart your mountain adventure, we highly recommend exploring the Chochołowska Valley, the longest valley on the Polish side of the Tatra Mountains. This is a fantastic idea for a full-day hike with children to the shelter and a perfect starting point for advanced hikers reaching higher Western Tatras regions. The valley’s pristine beauty and tranquil atmosphere will surely leave you rejuvenated and in awe of nature’s wonders.
It’s a must to visit Gubałówka, where you can stroll along the magnificent old concrete road and admire the Sleeping Knight and a part of Zakopane. Don’t miss the opportunity to glimpse Czerwone Wierchy and some lesser-known peaks in the Western Tatras.
You cannot skip the Velo Dunajec bicycle route, the most beautiful bicycle route in Poland, which spans a length of more than 200 km. During this bicycle trip, you can explore new bike trails at the foot of the Tatra, Gorce, Pieniny, and Beskid Sądecki Mountains. Take a break and enjoy the stunning view of the Dunajec River flowing below or the breathtaking panorama of the Tatra Mountains. You can also visit some interesting places, such as the ruins of Niedzica Castle, the charming towns of Szczawnica and Stary Sącz, and so much more. The best part of this tour is that it’s suitable for everyone, regardless of age, from small children to seniors. We’ve designed this tour to be inclusive, ensuring everyone can enjoy this incredible experience!
While you’re here, remember to try the Podhale cuisine, which offers many delicious dishes. This regional cuisine is known for its hearty, flavorful dishes, often featuring local ingredients such as lamb, cheese, and mushrooms.
Those interested can also visit Zakopane and the famous Krupówki Street.
Days 5, 6, and 7
We will take you through majestic mountains and breathtaking scenic views.
After a hearty breakfast, we will venture to the Pieniny Mountains, one of Poland’s most stunning mountain ranges. If you’ve ever dreamed of an unforgettable adventure in nature, our rafting experience on the Dunajec River will surely exceed your expectations. This thrilling journey offers spectacular views of the Dunajec Gorge and majestic peaks, as well as a chance to unwind and connect with nature. Our experienced rafters, who have passed on their skills from generation to generation, will always ensure your safety. They are trained in first aid and are equipped with all necessary safety gear. They will also regale you with fascinating stories about this region, adding a touch of local flavour to your adventure.
Take advantage of this unique opportunity to experience one of the most beautiful attractions in Poland. The rafting season in the Pieniny Mountains lasts from April to October.
For your next course, I suggest following the trail to Three Crowns Peak, the most spectacular peak in the Pieniny Mountains and one of the region’s symbols. Five summit crags form the crown of rocks that characterises the peak, the highest one being Okrąglica, which stands at 983m and has a viewing platform that offers a beautiful panorama of the Dunajec Valley, Beskid Sądecki, the Gorce Mountains, and the Tatra Mountains.
You should also visit the medieval Niedzica Castle and the Czortyńska Dam. What sets Niedzica Castle apart is its unique, picturesque location, and the landscapes from the viewing terraces are breathtaking. Additionally, I recommend staying at Złoty Kłos Łapsze Niżne guesthouse or another facility of a similar standard, with at least four-star ratings. You’ll get to enjoy incredibly delicious breakfasts during your stay.
Days 8/9
We will transfer to the Muszyna health resort. Poland is a vast country with many unique places to visit, and Małopolska is no exception. Muszyna is a town in Nowy Sącz County, just 5 km from the Polish-Slovak border. For over a century, Muszyna has been famous as a resort due to its unique climate, mineral waters, and sanatoriums. The mountain refuge is a natural haven for hikers and fans of forest hiking, with its beautiful natural surroundings, numerous attractions, and unique atmosphere. From here, we will set off on the trails of the Beskid Sądecki, Leluchowskie Mountains, and Lubowelskie Mountains. Visitors can also explore historical buildings and Sensory Gardens on site.
Muszyna is in the heart of the Beskid Sądecki Mountains, full of life and excellent landscape values. The area offers many trails for mountain hiking enthusiasts, such as the Muszyna – Jaworzyna Krynicka or Muszyna – Żegiestów sections, which are equally attractive points on the map. The Sensory and Thematic Gardens are a must-see attraction in Muszyna. They showcase beautiful specimens, plant species, and animals such as alpacas, fallow deer, and exotic birds, attracting tourists from all over.
We recommend staying at the Pensjonat Klimek or Pensjonat Jaga for accommodation. These well-appointed guesthouses offer comfortable rooms, modern amenities, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Here, you can experience the hospitality and atmosphere of the region and taste the delicious regional cuisine.
Day 10
You will be required to transfer to the airport.
